Sustainable Saratoga’s April 26th meeting features The Street Trees of Saratoga Springs by DEC Forester Rich McDermott in the Community Room of the Saratoga Springs Public Library
Sustainable Saratoga, a volunteer organization encouraging efforts to improve the quality of life in Saratoga while conserving the vitality and diversity of regional resources, invites all interested to attend the group’s next meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Saratoga Springs Public Library.
The event is free of charge and open to the public. Please join us and NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Forester Rich McDermott to learn fascinating facts about the benefits of street trees, how to identify the common street trees of Saratoga Springs, and how the public can be a part of Sustainable Saratoga’s partnership with the City of Saratoga Springs and the Department of Environmental Conservation to map and document the street trees of the city’s inner district and plan for their management and care.
